My Heartfelt Sympathy  / John Wemlinger (A Grateful American and Veteran )

Eloquence fails me.  I am so terribly sorry for your loss.  Though I did not know Craig, I am a comrade-in-arms.  There is no explanation that anyone can ever give you for your loss.  Not even those of us who have served for decades can explain the death of one of our own.  All we can do is remember those among us who have made the ultimate sacrifice.  As we remember them, each holds a special place in our hearts.  Men and women like Craig are held in our highest esteem. Within this elite group of heros, nothing differentiates them, not age, gender, race nor rank.  They all share a greatness that sets them apart from the rest of mortal man.  Craig now walks among these immortals who have given their lives for our nation.

God Bless you and the rest of your family.  We share your loss and hold Craig and you in our hearts for eternity.

John Wemlinger
Colonel, US Army (Retired)

What an honorable person Craig was  / April Geminder (did not know him )
Thow I did not know your Craig, my heart broke when I read that he died in the line of duty. I have been praying for peace of mind for the family and friends that he left behind. I get this feeling of safety when I think of everything Craig did to honor his country and his family. My condolences to all of his family and friends. I cant imagine how hard of a time you are all going through but I am sure you are all strong and  know that he is at peace. Thank you for the wonderful upbringing of your son, he was a good man. Craig was a honorable guy and I only wish that I would have been lucky enough to have known him.

May God be with you in this difficult time.  / Dawn Elliott (In-Law to Seth..served in Craig's platoon )
I met Craig at my brother/sister-in-laws house in Prescott, AZ last year while at a BBQ.  Seth and Craig were in the same platoon and they were very close.  I know Seth, his mother, Wendy and stepfather, Steve are very saddened by the loss of Craig, as well as, my entire family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Craig's family.  I only met him once, but it was a pleasure and an honor.

Craig and my brother were buddys all threw out boot camp. Since my brother, Keith, would always talk about him I really wanted to meet him and i heard he really wanted to meet me too! Since I live in Illinois he came here last Chritmas leave to finally meet in person. I remember when I first saw him there at the airport, he dropped his bags and grabed me, and gave me the biggest hug, lifting me high off the ground! After that we became very good friends! He is a great guy and always will be!!

I love you guys!!!!  / Holly Hughes (Brother Brads girlfriend for 3 years )
I have known craig for 3 years, and I will never forget how the first time I came to brads house to meet the family and craig came down the hall and said, "what are you doing here get out of my house!" Or when Brad Kevin and I were in Brads room watching the South Park movie and craig comes in at the funny part and laughed so hard I started crying. And all the movie said was,"we'd like 4 tickect to tarrence and phillip asses of fire please....(pause for about 2 min) and then the guy says NO and craig started laughing. His smile made me smile when I was having a bad day. I remember that when he would call his mom was so happy and then the days he wouldnt she was down. God bless you craig and watch over you family and friends. I Love You!! Close

Craig was a outstanding person. I remember so much about him. I remember when i started track, i decided to pursue Shot Put. He was down there throwing at the time, and he taught me how to do a "power throw" WHich was to practice, not to use in competition. I ended up using it, in competition. I'll never forget Craig, he was an amazing person. A great friend, and a great hero. May god Bless his family. Close

We are so very sorry for the loss of Craig.  Sometimes it is hard to understand why God chose to take Craig at this time in his young life.  Underneath the suurface is a purpose we don't know, but trust in God's promises.  We thought the world of him.  Just hang in there with patience and prayer and it will help you through the rough times. Craig had a sense of humor and he served his country and we are very proud of him.  We love you, Jake and the boys. You know as kids Craig and I never really got along but I really am going to miss him! I talked to him before he left for this time out and I told him I am sorry for everything in the past, He told me it was Ok and then told me he loved me after I told him I loved him. I told him to come home safe, He just told me one thing "Jamie, If it is my time to go, I would rather die for my country than die an old man" and for that I am SO proud of my brother! He will ALWAYS be my hero!!! I love you and will always miss you Craig!! Close

With Heartfelt Sympathies and a Grateful Heart  / Barb Tharp (Went to church with Craig )

Craig, although I met you for the first time just a few years ago, you have left an imprint on my life and I will always remember you!  You are my hero!  You are a brave Marine who never forgot where he was from.  You grew up a lot in the service. The last time you were home - you seemed to know what was important in life. You valued your time, your family, your friends, your church, and your God.  You knew that Life is precious!   You believed in freedom and was living to pay the ultimate sacrifice.  Craig, you are Saluted for your bravery and for your courage.  Peace be with you. Forever grateful!  Barb Tharp

To Craig's family and friends:  During this time of remembrance, may your hearts be comforted by all the wonderful memories of Craig.   His smile, kind eyes, and he's joyful laughter will be remembered because Craig left an imprint on all of us!   I know Craig is serving in the Lord's army now... as a Marine of course.  He's in good hands!  Blessings to you.  Bt
